City Museum of Kőszeg - Tower of Heroes and General House
One of the most characteristic buildings of Jurisics Square and the entire town is the Tower of Heroes, which, together with the adjoining General House is the central building of the City Museum.
The City Museum of Kőszeg is located in theTower of Heroes and General House. .Within the walls there is an exhibition presenting the history of the handicraft industry in Kőszeg, one of the richest collections of guild and industrial history in the country. We can get an insight into the workshops of such old crafts as the belt maker and saddle maker, confectioner, butcher, but you can see comb masterpieces made of different materials, photography techniques and methods of development at that time as well. From the top hall of the tower you can exit to the outer panoramic corridor.
